The last day of the event will feature an activity where women will learn how to defend their personal boundaries and say no. This is a very important thing – legitimizing resistance and breaking the stereotype of female submissiveness. The discussion about neoliberal “women leaders” and transgressive feminism will be moderated. The participants of the event will talk about feminism of the future combined with transhumanism, about the role of sex in the life of a person of the future. The intensive will end with a discussion on “Militarism and Feminism in Modern Realities”.
In addition, there will be forum-theater events, discussions on alternative economic projects, feminism, and the phenomenon of culture shock.
The effect of the event will resemble a snowball. The information gained during the intensive will spread through social media, personal and business communication in different regions, and will reach a wide variety of people. When a part of society considers feminism to be something marginal, spreading information about it is an important component of achieving gender equality in society.
We will do our best to make the event happen, and we have plans to invite several foreign speakers. Each event like this brings us closer to the seemingly unattainable transhumanist future discussed by the participants, in which the phrase “I am a feminist” will be something commonplace and everyone will be able to be the full owner of their bodies and thoughts without feeling pressure from the outside.
